How does it work?

As you roll over the skin, the tiny Hyaluronic acid pins pinch through the stratum corneum and start to dissolve as you keep rolling.

Why?

Hyaluronic acid itself is a very stiff, thick material. It is strongly hydrophilic and thus attracted to water. Once combined with water, it gets softer and remains at the site of water. Since the amount of moisture of the skin is higher underneath the stratum corneum, it softens the Hyaluronic acid enabling it to remain in the EPIdermis.
